Back and Body Medical is a unique collaborative practice that combines the best of chiropractic and traditional modern medicine together with physical therapy and other protocols, all to provide you with the fastest and most effective route to pain relief. Our integrated team brings together a variety of diagnostic tools and treatment options. We efficiently identify the source of your pain, then prescribe and provide you with the right treatment for your particular condition and needs.
Pain can come from many sources. Whether you’ve suffered an accidental injury or you’re dealing with pain from a chronic condition, we know that you want your discomfort gone as quickly as possible so you can return to your old quality of life. That’s our focus too. We are laser-focused on delivering relief for patients suffering from lower back pain, sciatica, neck pain, shoulder pain, knee pain and other maladies. Our professional staff’s combined years of experience and diverse fields of expertise allow us to offer as targeted or broad-based an approach as is indicated by your condition.
The professionals at Back and Body Medical know that every patient is different. Different protocols will have a different impact, and every person has their own response to and tolerance for different treatments. Instead of limiting you to a specific discipline, we offer a wide range of treatment options, from chiropractic adjustment and physical therapy to spinal decompression therapy and acupuncture. Our goal is to eliminate your discomfort as quickly as possible and return you to full function and range of motion. Our years of experience have taught us that the best route to pain relief is a team approach that involves experts and protocols from diverse fields and includes patient engagement in their own treatment decisions.
When you visit Back and Body Medical, you’ll have access to an integrated team including chiropractors, a medical doctor, physical therapists and more. We are equipped with cutting edge diagnostic and treatment tools including onsite X-ray equipment, neuro-diagnostics (NCV/EMG), cold laser, ultrasound, the Decompression Therapy System Triton 600 and the Chattanooga Intelect line, all to help us identify, rehabilitate and provide relief for back pain, sciatica, neck pain, shoulder or knee pain, and more.
Back and Body Medical’s patients are able to choose from a wide range of treatment options, including chiropractors, physical therapists, licensed acupuncturists and medical massage practitioners. Patients are free to request whichever protocol they prefer or seek help from all of our team members: our goal is to provide you with a wide range of evidence-based approaches, all geared towards alleviating pain and restoring range of motion.
Also known as spinal manipulation, our chiropractic adjustments are non-invasive treatments that manually adjust or manipulate the spine, other joints and soft tissues, to address mechanical disorders of the neuromusculoskeletal system. By using controlled sudden force to restore proper alignment of the body’s structures, manual adjustments allow a return of mobility to body structures restricted by injury. Chiropractic treatments can be complemented by other treatments, including physical therapy, medical massage, and acupuncture.
