Time to Address Your Lingering Back Pain!

Whether your lingering back pain is constant or intermittent, if it’s been around long enough, you’ve probably made accommodations for it.  That’s what a lot of people do.

Many people with long-term (or chronic) back pain tend to accept it.  They may have tried a variety of therapies that gave temporary relief, but they soldier on in the belief that their pain is a cross to bear through life.

I suppose one could say these people are stoics but maybe they’re just afraid to go back to the doctor.  Maybe it’s the prospect of surgery they fear.  But whatever is it that’s holding them back, they’re not doing themselves any favors.

If you’ve been struggling with back pain, adjusting your lifestyle to make room for it, then you’re making matters worse than they need to be.  Now’s the time to address your lingering back pain and to get your life back.

Pain isn’t something you make space in your life for.  It’s something you confront, with the help of someone like me.

Help Is at Hand

The first thing you need to know is that you’re far from unusual.  1 in 4 adults is suffering with back pain right now.  The second thing you need to know is that most cases of back pain (even chronic cases) can be treated and the pain greatly diminished or even eliminated.

Most people with back pain won’t need surgery.  And pain is telling you that something’s going on that’s causing a nerve distress.  When you go to see a chiropractor, you’re visiting someone who’s been carefully trained to detect anomalies in the structures of the spine which cause nerves to be compressed.

My job is to find the right way to use my skills to treat your lingering back pain.  That may be adjustment.  It may also be manipulation.  Sometimes, a mild form of traction relieves the pressure causing your pain.

But sometimes, it takes a village.

Back & Body Medical – Multi-Disciplinarian Care

At Back & Body, we’re a village of clinical professionals with the mission of relieving pain.  We practice 4 distinct medical disciplines.  My chiropractic care is supported by the presence of medical professionals practicing acupuncture, physical therapy and sports medicine.

So, the beauty of visiting me for your lingering back pain is that if we don’t get you where you want to be (pain-free), then my colleagues support my work with their own.  That gives you access to a pain relief team practicing under one roof.

And when you’re finding a way out of lingering back pain, that’s way better then dragging yourself from specialist’s office to specialist’s office, looking for relief.

Multi-disciplinarian care happens when medical professionals put their heads together and find the solution that’s right for the individual patient.  We center our practice on patient need, with the goal of sending you home feeling better after every visit.

Isn’t it time you addressed your lingering back pain?  At Back & Body, we can make that happen.  Contact us.  Let’s get started.
