Right off the bat, I’ll admit that I’m not the most unbiased source to ask, as a Doctor of Chiropractic. That said, my years of experience practicing this highly-respected medical discipline have graced me with many examples of patients who’ve been helped by chiropractic treatment.
Chiropractors have been around long enough to have earned that kind of respect. There’s nothing magical about what we do. Chiropractic isn’t a novelty.
Chiropractic has been around for well over 100 hundred years, helping millions of people all over the world, so chiropractors have earned their place in the Western medical tradition and then some.
At Back & Body Medical, we’re a team of chiropractors, physical therapists, and sports medicine experts, skilled in a wide range of therapeutic models. We work together to create something new – a complex of care which offers a personalized response to pain.
My patients.
I look back on my years as a chiropractor with pride. I’ve been fortunate to work with a lot of people who needed help with their pain issues. Together, we’ve found solutions that have restored their quality of life. So, when people ask, “Do chiropractors really help?”, I always turn to my patients as living examples who answer the question decisively.
Walter, for example. Walter’s in his 80s now and enjoying a quality of life many seniors, sadly, don’t have access to. He came to us with some physical concerns and we worked with him. We’re still working with him, to keep him as mobile and vital as possible in his 8th decade of life. He’s something of a wonder and he’s a wonder that proves chiropractors really help.
Another patient came to us with advanced sciatica. She could hardly walk a block without having to sit and rest. She’d been engaged with other therapies and finally asked the question “Do chiropractors really help?”. We answered it at Back & Body. And she’s up and around again, free of pain.
I could present reams of testimonials demonstrating that chiropractors really help, but this is a blog, so I’ll resist the temptation. As a chiropractor, I’ve seen enough to be proud of what I do and to be able to tell you in no uncertain terms that yes – chiropractors help – a lot!
Back & Body – chiropractors plus.
Back & Body’s foundation is chiropractic, but we believe in a multi-disciplinarian, integrated approach here. Our physical therapists work with the chiropractic unit and sports medicine experts, offering a diversified suite of therapeutic services.
Our diversity of care delivery means patients can draw on limitless possibilities for treatment. Instead of relying on only one specialization, we’re able to compliment and layer therapies to enhance and expedite patient outcomes. This innovative approach works, serving our patients with integrated care in one convenient location.
What could be better than not having to race all over town to a variety of specialists’ offices? We know our patients appreciate that convenience.
Do chiropractors really help? I think we do, but I invite you to book an appointment and find out for yourself.
