Help for Musician Pain in NYC

Today’s study is from the German Medical Science, and it lets the people who play in orchestras, musicians know that if they’re in pain, that they’re not alone. We see a lot of musicians at Back & Body in the orchestra or a band, we see a lot of them for their pain and their discomfort. A lot of them deal with that for a long period of time. To talk about the study, they looked at 740 musicians in the orchestra across Germany and they found that 2/3 of the musicians dealt with chronic pain.

The breakdown was this, keep in mind that it won’t happen to 100%, they can have more than one area of pain unfortunately. 70% of those people had back pain, 68% of those people reported shoulder pain, 64.1% of those people reported neck pain and wrist and hand came in last at 39.8%. Of those musicians, 27.4%, almost a third stated that the pain impairs their ability to play their instrument. That’s your livelihood.
